The CIFA Act Would Make COFA Citizens Eligible for Federal Benefits

These Include:

  1. FEMA Disaster Relief Benefits (I.E.: COVID-19 federal funds or assistance in case of Tornadoes or other natural disasters)

  2. CHIP- An additional type of health insurance for children

  3. SNAP- Food benefits, many call it “Food Stamps” or EBT”

  4. SSI- Social Security Income for those who are disabled and/or COFA Elders

  5. TANF- Temporary Assistance For Needy Families
